post rut "lull"?

    Is there a post rut lull? I have seen very little (no) activity for about a week, since the primary rut appears to have ended. Are the deer resting? Changing food sources? A combination?

    Have you seen a similar pattern in your woods?

    Tom I am starting to see it pick up a little, the weather here in Minnesota is finally normal but I have more buck activity on trail cam the past 2-3 days. Food where the does feed now is where you want to be.

    I have still been seeing a few does but have not seen a buck since Sunday. My trail cameras have went all but silent as well. This is the usual for the week following gun season. I'll still be out this weekend hoping to catch one last cruiser.

    i was coyote hunting in northcentral ND today and see a GREAT amout of bucks chasing does? some real dandies too:rock:
