its cheatin... put in your time and hard work, otherwise, when you do kill a deer in that guys stand you didn't scout, you'll know in your own heart and mind you didn't put in the work and earn that deer. You know it's cheating, thats why you are asking, to have other validate and justify your cheating...If you want to cheat, fine, but you know deep down you didn't earn that deer.
last week my buddy gave me a tip on a spot with heavy deer activity in the woods we hunt. I hunted it thenext day and shot my first ever deer. I showed him the tree I was in and Two nights later he hunted same spot and shot an 8 Point buck... we are all here to help each other out... go and enjoy the hunt and don't forget to pay it forward some day!

Here is a way to handle it: Take a climber in mid afternoon do some scouting, look at some satellite views, and play the wind. Do your best to put yourself on deer and hunt. Teach yourself how to put a good fair chase hunt on without being told where to sit. You'll become a more confident hunter by getting it done on your own.
if you carried a 50 pound bag of corn and dumped it out in front of a stand once a week for a month then hunted over it, THAT would be cheating hunting land that someone gave you permission to hunt is just freaking awesome

That's why I posed the question in the first place, as for me and my brother-were good on it & he doesn't feel it's cheating because he hasn't touched the stand all year & couldn't promise I'd even see anything.
