Congrats on a great buck BJE80
Hunting here in Ohio has been slow, warm weather has slowed daylight movement. I've seen some nice deer right at end of legal shooting light just too far. This is my last afternoon, maybe this light rain we are getting will get them on their feet. Good luck everybody.

Been hunting my MA property hard this week had 3 does follow me to my stand on Monday, then about an hour later a 4-pointer walked about, but never came closer than 80 yards.. Then, walked a smaller section that is a nice natural pinch point with my buddy today and found a huge trail with no less than 5 rubs and tons scrapes everywhere.. Though, with the way they seem to be they are traveling in the afternoon. So I'm trying to figure out a way to get out there in the afternoon, RUT is coming boys!!

Sorry... I have been hunting HARD and have passed a few deer. I will be hitting it hard this coming weekend. Anyway, I thought I would share a pic of my son's deer he got last week. He is awfully proud. The taxidermist said it would be close to 130.

Big hack congrats to your son. I'm going out tomorrow morning to hunt. I won't be any help to the team until after the rut when I try and put a doe down. But bucks are starting to cruise more now. My good buddy shot a awesome buck yesterday. Here are some pics. It's even crazier in person. Unreal mass.

Thank you. It's been a great year for the both of us already. From helping each other set stands and trim lanes. Then having it pay off with buck kills for both of us it just awesome.

Guys sorry that I haven't been on here lately. I just finished up a 10 day hunt at that ammunition base that I was lucky enough to be one of twenty people to hunt it from the 1-10. I had some nice encounters and passed up some deer that were pretty nice. I missed a 150's class 8 point stud and probably a 135 inch 10 pointer. I think my sight got knocked loose because when I shot it into a target it was shooting hard left. You live and you learn but it was a great experience. I'm going out in the morning to go after that 200 incher and then after church I'm headed to Ohio to visit family and hunt the family ground for a week. Hope to get one down soon!

Sorry guys been busy working here. Having been hunting in awhile. I still plan on putting a doe down this year. Just going to have to plan accordingly. I'll be even busy now with work and the holidays as I'm sure all of you will be too.

Know what you mean, it has been crazy for me at work as we are getting started on some major expansion projects that have kept us all busy. I have been able to get into a stand and I was able to take a management buck on the property that we had been wanting to take out of the herd. I am fortunate to get to hunt in 2 different states. I have had opportunities to harvest many does but I plan to wait until mid December until it is consistently colder before pulling a string on one.

That is if my mind doesn't change:lol:

Took a doe the other morning as I had planned. Already posted to the scoreboard. Has everyone quit? No posts to our page in nearly a month.
