Awesome story, and an awesome buck!!! Cinderella story is all I can say. You really did earn that monster, and that's admirable. Again, BIG congrats Holt!

Thanks man! I was happy to keep you in the loop. And yes you were right, I was going to shoot him during the rut! Thanks for the support over the last 2 months.

I don't know anything about Maryland, but wouldn't that be some kind of a record? I'm just figuring a deer of that caliber should be a record somewhere?

Maryland puts down some huge deer! As of now if the score is close to what I scored him at, He will be really close to 9 or 10 for all time bow kills. Got to wait 60 days to get scored, then we will see! I will put him in the MD books if he is top 10!

The Number 1 Bow Buck was shot not to far from me in the same county. It was taken in 2013, and nets around 227

Btw, there is not near enough photos of you and your buck in this thread.

Have you decided how you will mount him?

I will post up more, only have 100 or so! Haha. I really was thinking a wall pedestal mount, been wanting to do one but just needed a deer that could pull it off!

I agree. I want a wall pedestal mount really bad. I have always said I would only do it with a true giant. You sir have one of those.

Incredible deer for sure. And to think it's from the east coast.

Congrats on the buck of a lifetime!
