    Headed down southern IL to family farm. Just saw Giant buck slow stepping across wheat field Tons of other deer moving. wish i was in a stand but i will be tonight! Good luck today guys and gals

    Beautiful morning. Had 3 deer come through right after shooting light. A hot doe a little buck and I medium buck. Shot the medium buck at 20 yards. Waiting a bit to check for blood! I think I heard him crash

    Just had a yearlong doe circle around me. Stopped broadside at 30 for a few minutes sniffing the trail I came in on. Awful tempting.
    There's also a branch that keeps rubbing, that sounds like a doe bleat. Got my hopes up lol.

    I'm at the river today. I've hunted marble hill a couple times this week and bucks are cruising there too.

    Thanks! I am finishing up packing and heading out. I dropped an average doe there last Saturday. Was covered in dies but no bucks. When did the Bucks start moving up there?

    I didn't sit any midday, but I saw deer at all other times of the day. No rhyme or reason to any of it, just the rut.
