The first outing of my season two weeks ago I was geeked to get up in my climber that has been oh so sweet to me last season when it was brand new. I get up in my perspective tree and clink clang clink! Wth...is making that noise? I look down and a crack in one of the braces on my platform. So I just back my size 14 boots off a little and finish my hunt and hope if need be my harness works just based on the craftsmanship I was seeing as I give her the ole safety inspection 20+ft in the air. It's way more noisy than before, so much so my brother that was on the other side of my property heard me. He said it sounded like the marching band was coming down out of a tree. Kinda pissed

Had a friend who that happened to, seems summit replaced it. Worth a shot.

I think Summit has a 1 year warranty on all products and a 5 year on tree stands. It stinks that happened, but you should be able to get it repaired/replaced by them.

Summit makes one of the best climbers on the market. I would seriously consider getting it repaired or replaced and giving it a 2nd try. I love my Summit Viper when I can use it in the right areas/trees

yea summit stands behind their product. I would give them a shot to make it right. On the bright side, you just scored! An ok to go get a lonewolf AND your summit will prob be repaired or replaced. a two-fer!
