I hunted Sat, Sun, and Mon. It was really slow Sat, didn't see a deer on the stand, got back to the cabin and doe was standing in the front yard. Sun morning saw 4 fawns in AM and nothing in PM. Monday PM was better, saw 3 basket rack bucks, one was chasing does.

Trail cameras were very encouraging. Have lots of new bucks visiting a mock scrape I made a month ago. All night pics but they are around. Good luck guys, wish the weather would cool off but I don't see anything exciting (weather related) in the next 10 days.

Pulled my card today got this bad boy hitting some scrapes. Found his scrape line. Any advice for hunting scrape lines? It's public land.

Congrats to all those who have already put points on the board.

I have had probably 7-8 sits so far with nothing too exciting to report as far as mature bucks but it's all good.

Haven't been out in a week or so but should have some time mid week on so hopefully i get some more quality time in soon. haven't checked cameras in awhile either so hopefully there will be some encouraging photos when I do.

Good luck to everyone, have fun, and be safe.

I had scheduled off Mon - Wed but Monday was slow and 70 degrees expected for Tuesday. This weather is really messing up my hunting.

My cameras are showing next to zero daytime activity even by the does.

Had a dental appointment at 0800 that morning or I would have been in the tree when he walked by! Super bummed out.

    Temps are high here too
But I'll be out Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday. Then the following Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I really hope the bottom falls out of this weather system fast
