We've been kinda slow, his buck tonight will be the first thing since Rizzo got us sone points I believe . I've seen deer but nothing worth pulling the trigger on, but I guess seeing deer is better than nothing lol If I can get the girlfriend to sit still in the morning I hope one of those bucks I have walks in to that where that hot doe has been running around. Rack a little smaller then I thought but body wise he was definitely mature. Hoping he makes 130. Will get some good pics in the morning
Alright bowhunt, it's been long enough, when are we gonna see a pic of this dude? lol Well, the girlfriend wanted to know what i was all about so I took her this morning. She did really good, took a shower in Dead down wind, washed her new camo in it, wore scent free lotion and was quite the whole time and listened to everything i said. She even told me it was alright we didn't see anything and said she wants to get her license and go with me some other time. We will see.
Here he is, won't score well but a trophy just the same for me!!! Won't be able to get a score on him for at least a week or more as I left him at the butchers and came home. It was to hot to do much didn't want to risk it.
I don't know why you're talking down on that buck, that's a hell of a deer man. Congratulations. Look at the spread on that guy. You should be proud of him, you set out and did what you wanted to do. I wouldn't care what he scored, Job well done.
Got down to West Central IL for my week long public land bow hunt. Hung a stand for tonight's wind and then another for tomorrow's. Hot! Was 85 when I put up stands. Still 80 now. Will see what happens. Congrats on the buck!
Thanks, had 3 does within 10 yards. Got 2 of them on the tactacam. Small 4 pointer came out and bumped 2 of the them off field. One big doe just stomped at the buck. Buck walked off. Only hunting for a big buck in the heat today. Supposed to be 15-18 degrees cooler tomorrow.
