Here is my question. I planted a small soybean plot around the first of July. I installed an electric 3 wire fence with a hotbox. It has worked, the deer have not been in the beans up to this point. I do have a few does bedding down near the bean plot outside the fence from time to time. I want to be able to use this as "kill" plot. I will nto be in stand again until Nov 5, due to this weekend being the first Missouri youth gun season. I was thinking about taking the fence down this Sunday, October 30. That puts the fence down 5 or 6 days before I can sit over it, or should I wait until Wednesday, November 2? Thanks!

Personally...I'd go with this Sunday...but I don't know how small this plot is?

About an acre or just a bit more.

Oh definitely Sunday...give em a few days to discover it is opened back up! Unless you have just a HUGE deer population issue an acre should last weeks even with the heaviest of browsing from a normal herd number.

Surprisingly very well but some activity has been discouraged because of logging. But they still are in them at night.

Hey guys,I just realized I was way off on my measurement. This plot is more like a half-acre, should I still take the fence down Sunday or wait a few days? Thanks!
