Hunt the Rub line because of the cold front but only sit for a couple hours and then go deep and scout!!! Unless of course you put down the bruiser right away off the scrape line, then take an afternoon nap!!!

Yeah that's what I've been leaning towards. I think it'll be my best shot to scout for a hunt there this season. It's like I know the answer but I still have to ask it! LOL Thanks man I appreciate it!

Swamp, find a 6 inch tree, climb up 30 feet, and enjoy the ride. When you get too seasick to take it any more try to walk out in a straight line.

Where in Pa are you hunting? I'm hoping to get out early in the AM, if the rain isn't too heavy. There's going to be wind too, but the direction is good for me. These colder temps might help get something going!

My dad shot a doe. I had a 3.5 8 at 20 yards but couldn't get a shot and he spooked when the neighbors made some racquet.

Today is opening morning of our 9 day primitive arms season. The woods will have a lot more activity this morning. Hopefully they will stir them up a little bit.

Very windy out here, good thing I'm strapped in, with the gusts I was able to sneak into the big boys bedding area where we hung a stand yesterday. Two fresh big beds near by, hoping to catch him coming back to bed this morning good luck all stay safe, it is windy and cold out here!

Sounds like you're getting what we're supposed to be getting this afternoon. Makes sense if you're in PA. I wonder if this is the late October front that everybody talks about? I always seem to miss it every year. LOL

I got to sleep in a little bit which is always nice. Getting ready at the house, 45 minute drive for me. Then I plan on spending at least half the day scouting. I do not think I'm going to bring my bow. If I'm going to be making some type of noise, I do not want to look like a threat. So I don't plan on being in stealth mode. I have always found this technique to work wonders. Especially on public land.

20mph winds....45 degrees. Had to improvise this morning as the original spot I planned on hunting wad just too thick. Couple more weeks until more leaves drop. Thank God for another day in the woods.
