What's hunting gimmick/product have you purchased that clearly was a waste of money? I almost bought some spray, do not remember the name, owner of shop was always very friendly with me and said put that **** back son and save your money..LOL It was quite some time ago.

A belt clip for your bow. Sounded great but after getting it and realizing where the string would hang on is right where the peep and D-loop is on my string I never used it. Kilboars Hunt Club
Oh god, you're right, still got a few packs of tacks that I never bothered to use, besides didn't want to mark a trail for someone else to follow either.. Good one.
Tacks are for hunters that don't know their way to their stand. Be it in the dark, or otherwise. As a Master, you shouldn't need such things.
I use the scent of the earth's soil and the smell's of the surroundings to find my way to a stand in the dark, just for fun, sometimes I just use my tracking skills and follow my old steps.
