Getting cooler here. Finally, it was in the low to mid 50's this morning instead of the low to mid 70's.
In stand hour before shooting time. Hot here 70* suppose to cool off starting tomorrow for the weekend. Muzzle loader opens here on Saturday.
Been the same here. It hit 90* on Monday. Mid 70s yesterday, 51* this morning...you would think a 40* drop over last 2 days would get them moving a little.... pushed a doe out of the field on my way in, she didn't blow at least, just ran, stopped, and ran again off into the woods... I'm ground blinding it this morning. I haven't hunted out of this thing in a couple of years but the wind was wrong for where I wanted to go. One thing I noticed right away is that this blind is a shelter for mosquitoes! Had to fire up the thermacell. Actually this is quite comfy. Be safe everyone. Blessings.........Pastorjim
I have had that problem in the blind as well, but the thermacell does a good job of clearing them out since it is such an enclosed space...don't have to run it constantly either...good luck Jim and everyone else .. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
On stand this morning....little warmer than it has been but don't really mind cause I love being out in the woods especially the fall all leaves have changed here and it is a beautiful morning
