Looks like some cooler weather coming this Friday/Saturday in SW PA and NE OH. Hopefully it has the deer moving finally, it has been dead in this heat.
Well, i'm going to call it a day, i sat right outside his bedroom all day and didn't see anything, i got to get a little one from school and figure out supper since i'm in charge of supper with mama having a meeting. That was a full days work in the stand but it sure did beat being at work

Today didn't work out. Besides being hot the wind is trying to rip the top out of trees right now. Thursday will be the only other day this week for me. 15* drop in temps but rainy. I'm gonna go for it again. Friday Saturday look awesome though.
I got very, very bashed a few years ago when I posted that my harvest pics where on my buddies camera...in Hawaii. I also posted that I would submit them as soon as he returned from his trip, which I did. The threats I received were ridiculous. Being a BHOD team member and outfitter I hope he is not exposed that crap!
You got threats over that? Like for real? It's a contest, online nonetheless...Why are people so crazy?
Almost all of them were sent PM to me. Accused of sandbagging. Accused of cheating. By the language used most of them were written by drunk idiots! Forwarded them to a couple mods at the time. You're exactly right, it's a "bragging rights" contest.
That's just silly, but when you are dealing with the Internet you know you are gonna have those type of people. We truly seem to have a good group of guys who are all true hunters on here. I know this is my first year, but I think we have held our own so far and I'm proud of what he have done so far, even if just for bragging rights. I don't want to lose, but I'd never go PM somebody about what they did wrong, I'd leave that up to the mods and Fitz to work out lol
What do you mean that it's just for bragging rights. Didn't you get the pm from Fitz asking for your bank account number and SS# so he could file with the IRS and then deposit the net winnings? At least I think it was Fitz.
Mine was from my cousin the Nigerian prince, but I thought that was just me so I kept it on the DL because I didn't want to split the million bucks after I sent him 5k for the taxes.
Rizzo that was you I'm just teasing everybody. Sorry stuff like that happens and people do that. I had a similar thing happen on another forum and i just stopped posting on it. i haven't had to much trouble on this forum but I try to be careful.
Team - I think we need to make sure you rise above all the negative stuff. We are all bowhunters here and we all have the same goal. Let's have fun with this - it's only deer hunting and only for fun!! Besides DeCroo shoots mule deer and they are way easier to hunt then whitetails... ooooohhh snap! LOL. With that said - let's start dropping some bucks!
