Guys Im havING trouble with my peep sight. I got my bow re strung this year and it's turning. I turned my d loop but I couldn't turn it with the twist and had to turn it 270 degrees around the string against the twist. After this the bow is shooting low. Got it dialed back in to the point I can hit an apple at 40. However it kind of bugs me that moving loop may have effected my tune. The loop was extremely tight Any thought? By the way my peep malfunction happened on a fat doe at 22 yards. Could not of happened in the back yard in august lol.

String must have streched. Sounds like you need to add or remove a 1/2 twist to your string to get the peep alighned. you need a press to do it.

Another trick I've heard is if you have string silencers that split the string, if you move them up or down the string they rotate your peep.

It all depends and the string manufacturer also
Some string will never keep a peep sight straight.
If it continues a cheap quick fix would be a peep with a tube.
Personally I hate them but it works if you keep getting peep rotation

I got it fixed but had to resight again. Peep is solid after 50 shots tonight. The strings are custom made and good quality. Should be all set now. Now I got to find that doe again.

Good to see you got a picture of her.. I finally got out in the stand and had 2 get behind me on a trail through thick brush.. Ill get to try again Monday night where the activity is looking more promising per the pictures i just pulled. No huge bucks but enough does for a 50 spot on the score card.

I came so close to killing a big 8pt this evening! 3 big bucks came in to my clover plot and I passed the first one to shoot the biggest of the group and by the time the big one came close it was to dark to see my pins:( then the 3 bucks started sparing at 25 yards and all I could do is watch the show until they left.
