I'm still in shock. I did not think they would do it mid season, much less this early.

    Come on down Herman!

You are going to end up with Bobby Pertrino. You know that right?

The $10 Million buyout is absurd. Nobody deserves that kind of money for failing. Or, for coaching any sport for that matter. A lot of good things could be done in education with that kind of money. Especially in a state that consistently ranks at or near the bottom of literacy and poverty.

    Nope.

I'm pretty confident it will not be Petrino. Although I wouldn't be too bothered by Petrino. He is an ***, but dude can coach.

The boosters would not donate the money for education. Its about football.

Brady Hoke is available and don't count out Rich Rod, he's dying to get back to a big program.

Bo "F'n" Pelini - only because I want to see him fail miserably again.

Ugh. Many are clamoring for this.

And ignoring all the rape stuff (which is the main reason why it will never happen), why would LSU replace a coach who ignored offense with a coach that ignores defense?

The other name that makes me cringe that people are saying is Kiffin. Ugh.

    1) The same boosters also donate millions to education.
    2) LSU football generates millions upon millions of dollars for LSU. If the football team losing started to reduce that revenue, getting rid of Miles and getting a new coach would make sense for an investment.

We're keeping Schiano 'til the end of the season. They can have Fickel though! :)
