Just got settled in for opening day in OH! First time out ever hunting by myself on some public ground we will see what happens.
I'm settled in here in ky about 25 ft on a white oak thicket. Acorns are dropping should be a good morning.....good luck to all
Saw a doe right before shooting light here in Ohio . She snuck up behind me and blew a couple times. Good start to the season
Same deal here in Ohio. It's not too hot yet actually. Got a nice cool breeze. I'm videoing my buddy this morning. Had a doe come in at 15 yards but she came in downwind and looked up at us. She never blew, just turned and trotted off. Saw a few others cruising in the distance. It's a beautiful day to be out in Gods creation.
Live from the stand in Kentucky. So far seen 2 squirrels.. 2 raccoons.. and a turkey's head. Oh yeah and 2 cows... BHOD
61degrees here in Kentucky haven't seen anything yet but hope something will walk through this white oak thicket on the way back to bed
