Well guys, got the back half of the woods ready to hunt. Still have a little more. Found a set of tracks as big as my hand. There's a lot of potential out there. Food plots are coming in nicely and some of them are already starting to get chewed down. Took this picture from one of the stands.

Didn't know if I could post a video in Tapatalk or not. I think I'll post some live from the tree stand videos this year just for fun.

I'll vote for number 2 as well. Sorry for the inactivity on my end. Wife is starting her last year of nursing school, so we were out getting last minute things taken care of for that.

I feel like I should give you a half vote just for trying. If you really want to know what it feels like, why don't you donate to my personal charity and I might be able to work something out for you.

I'm ok with that because that means once she actually starts her last year of nursing school, you'll have copious amounts of free time to contribute. And kill deer.

Ha, I wish. 2 kids at home squashes that theory. However, I know I'll have more time this year than before because of how her schedule sets up. And I also work a 5 am-130 pm shift, do I can get out for afternoon hunts pretty easily.

Sitting here, twiddling my thumbs waiting for sept 17th to roll around. And I'm impatient. I think I'll go shoot my bow some more. And wait.

Shot for about an hour before the bugs won. I feel pretty confident out to 40 and plan to limit myself to 30. Still have a lot of shooting to do though

Got my buddy his first bird and now he's hooked. 27lbs and 11" beard 1 ¹/⁴ spurs. It was so awesome just to be a part of it and watch his reaction when the bird stepped into view. I wasn't as lucky.

Not so lucky this year though it was only my second season turkey hunting. Went out early in the season and only had hens come in. Work schedule got in the way towards the end of the season and never could get out. Saw some nice toms then just not when I was hunting.
