Hey guys so to start out im a lefty, and seem to have this issue every season due to my private property having a lot of ladder stands on it, with the gun rails that can fold back. I was wondering if its just because im lefty or if its the stands that are causing this issue. every time I draw I have to stand at a pretty awkward angle on the stand to make sure I dont hit the tree or the stand with my bow is this normal i am switching over to some hang ons next season in hopes that it gives me some more freedom on the front end. obviously I cannot move the tree. I can always angle my stand to be in a move comfortable place to draw and shoot with a hang on, but not so much with a ladder stand.
see I have a harness as well but a lot of our stands have the rail on them because some of my family members shoot shotgun as well, thats why i think i am going to start hanging some hang on stands net summer to have better abilities to shoot.
Most rails I have seen are easy to take on and off, would that be a option? Just put them back on before gun season
ours fold back but its the part that is built into the stand like welded onto the stand that is the issue.
To me front rails are a nuisance. I won't own any stand with a front rail, not even a climber. Some folks like them, they just aren't for me.
X2. Didn't like it on my climber so I got one without it. Fold them back in ladder stands that have them. Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
