I'm really swamped with fantasy football drafts right now... Taking up most of my time on the weekends. Should be done with them soon. Had one come up today unexpected and shot my plans of scouting the public land down the drain.

Football; my single other passion that can occasionally interfere with this one! :)

God bless the DVR. It's about time to cleanse it of the wife stuff to make some room.

In on group message. 30 targets for a 276/360 max (12 ring) as Oasage Creek in Marshall, IL for my first time out was pretty good for me!

My number is 423-948-6489 and I'm good with a group text.

I love some fantasy football too!

I've been really overwhelmed trying to get everything ready for this year. The whole deal with hunting land has put me in a bind. That place was really good to me for many years, plus it was less than 5 minutes from my house. The new place is a 45 minute drive away. It was logged around 10+ years ago too and the owner has allowed all the roads and trails to get grown up over the last few years. I've already spent about 10-12 hours behind a weedeater with and without the blade attached. I have atleast that much more to go before I can get some stands hung. I do have a couple cameras up but have yet to get a buck on camera. My work schedule and the rain we have been getting over the last week has made it really difficult to get anything done. I need a couple full days to in order to get done with all my trimming and getting everything in order.

I can't wait to get it finished so I can get some stands hung and let the place cool down for a few weeks.

I hope everyone has had a great weekend!

Looks like Fitz got the names changed! I like it more and more each time I read it.

Just to get some conversations going... What kind of bucks have you guys killed throughout your years? I haven't shot a buck with my bow but this is the biggest I've got with my rifle. Ignore the pose of me sitting on the deer like an idiot. [IMG]

Very first time deer hunting... Have been hooked since although don't gun hunt anymore - own plenty of guns but prefer bowhunting.

Not the best picture but hero shot...

He was a tank...barely fit in the back of the side by side...didn't weigh him but the drag sure let me know quick that he was one of the biggest I've ever pulled through the woods

Wow, those are some nice deer. Looks like this group is a contender. I have not shot a buck in the last 5 yrs with bow. I like to take a doe early and then sit there waiting for the great pumpkin to show himself.

Last year was the first year in about 15 yrs. that I did not deer hunt much. But, I did get my first bear in August.
