Bowhunter448 checking in. I'm Tim and I'm chasing mule deer in Nevada. My season opened last Wednesday and goes until September 9. I'm planning on heading out tomorrow morning with a friend of mine to a spot he knows of.

Hey guys. I'm checking in from CT. I hunt both public and private land, and mostly hardwoods. I don't have any real food plots working for me but I have a hay field with lots of clover that is pretty productive in 50% of the early seasons. I don't run cameras much because its so difficult to get in and out of the hardwoods without pressuring the deer, but I do have a few decent bucks (+120") I'm hoping to be able to get a shot at this fall. My season starts September 14th but I'm getting married shortly after so my early season is gonna be pretty crammed. I recognize quite a few of the team members this season. I'm looking forward to hearing about your hunts this fall. Best of luck.

I'm usually on here when I'm at work :) Boss lets me as long as I don't live on here all day long. Once season starts in about a month I usually try to hunt every weekend unless the weather really sucks or it is one of those youth gun hunts I think early October. Even then I sometimes pull out the blaze orange and still bow hunt.

Anybody want to throw out ideas for a team name and who should be team captain?

I should be out on the mountain about 4 pm tonight.

I'll think of team names and post some thoughts once I get back tonight, hopefully with some antlers in hand

Here are a couple of suggestions from my team last year we didn't pick. Isn't much, but it's a start.

    Carbon Fiber Diet
    Rack Attack
    Blood Trail Brotherhood
    Autumn Ninjas
    Blood Red Truck Bed
    Bucks & Beers

Since we're Team 15 I was thinking Beware The Ides of Archery...a spin on "Beware the Ides of March" from when Caesar was assassinated. I don't know if everyone will get it though. Aside from that:

    Blood Red Truck Bed
    Autumn Knights
    Ridge Top Renegades
    Common Scents
    #RackLivesMatter

I kinda like Rack Attack. Its simple and has a punch to it versus being a phrase and seems more like a name if that makes sense.
