It's gonna be tough... The winter pic is from a feeder on my private land (12 acres) that borders the public land. That was the only time I've seen any of these bucks on the private side. The public side (thicket) is so thick and nasty (and with so few areas to get a shot off), I'm the only "local" crazy enough to hunt it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

4 of us here at my barracks are coming to ohio this year, to hunt in the area of woodberry wildlife area and or the simco wildlife area. any tips or recommendations

That is a great looking deer! Any guess at his age/score? Also, how many inches did he put on this year? That is pretty exciting that there are a few really good deer there. You have to like your chances one of them will mess up. Definitely keep us posted on this journey.
Good question... I've always found it nearly impossible to judge bucks in that 5.5-7.5 range, and I've only been watching him for a year. My guess is he's 5.5, possibly 6.5. At this point, the only clear gain I can see through the velvet is a new kicker on the back of his left G2. Hoping for more preseason pics, but this dude has been very camera shy.
