more precise, accurate, your spine will be more accurately tuned to you. Arrows are just as important to me as my bow so I pay a lot of attention to them. Most places will cut them for you when you buy the arrows
Well all factors considered if your arrows are cut to a length and the spine of your arrow is the right one for your setup you should be good to go. For example you can have a 28" arrow on a 26" draw length bow if the spine is correct for your poundage. If you notice there is no draw length indicators on a spine chart. Aesthetically you don't want 4 inches of arrow poking out at full draw and the shorter the arrow the better you can maneuver it in tight spaces like a blind. There are cases where one might want an arrow that is a little longer. Say to pick a few more grains for weight. So unless the arrow is excessively long I wouldn't bother. Say more than an inch past the riser of the bow. Hope that makes sense.
Proper length arrows: Stabilize sooner. Retain more energy transferred from the bow. Increase penetration. No stiches in any fingers of your bow hand. But length goes along with spine. Changing length changes how the arrows spine reacts. They go hand in hand.
so im shooting a 350 blue rz and i have a 29 inch draw and was gunna cut to a 30 inch arrow is that too short?
