Shooting a tight group at 25 yards, shooting 5 arrows the same arrow always shoot about 3 inches low. Every thing is the same on all arrows. Easton Axis 400. Any idea!
Try turning the nock to a different vane. Essentially rotating the shaft. If that vane doesn't help then rotate to the next. See if this helps.
Are you sighted in for 25 yards with that pin? If you are shooting a 20 yard pin at 25, it is predictable thay you are going to group low. Also, are you maintaining your head position by checking your scope alignment in your peep sight?
Along with what Jeep says, I suggest you spin test the arrow that is always low to check for a wobble.
Whoops......missed that part. Typically good at reading comprehension, but epic fail this time. Check that arrow.....carry on.
Don't people number their arrows anymore, just write a number or unique marking on the fletching of each arrow helps keep track of an arrow that does not fly like the others, take the guess work out of it.
If you read his post....he states he knows which arrow is shooting low already. A little reading of the original post goes a long way
Is it possible you put a heavier point in the arrow by accident? I shoot 125 grain points and have a few 100 grains in my tool box and have gotten them mixed up before and that will affect flight. If not, the shaft, insert, or point could have gotten bent somehow, but that may cause more erratic flight vs. consistently hitting low.
Strip the fetching, cut and re square the nock end. Use a new nock, re fletch. If it still is a flyer then toss it.
Thanks everyone, the arrow had just a little wobble to it, not much but a little. I discarded that arrow,now I'm keeping my group.
