Well here it is July and I picked up my venison hotdogs and meat sticks last night. There was a delay in getting it done and while I was getting impatient on the bright side I still have venison had I got my stuff back sooner it would be gone by now. Going to make some venison chili mac and cheese dogs for lunch today.

That seems like a crazy long time if you've been waiting from last season. And the venison chili mac and cheese dogs sound awesome if they are what I think they are.

I did not get the guy my scraps till this spring he was busy ice fishing earlier in the winter, this spring he was busy prepping for his son's grad party. He also had equipment issues he bought a new big $ sausage stuffer and it is a beautiful piece of equipment but like anything with a circuit board it had fatal flaws.

Ahh, well that's not so bad then. The Amish took almost a month for my summer sausage a few years back and I thought that was long, but it was worth the wait. Enjoy, hopefully it gets you to deer season :)

Still have some venison dogs, couple packs of bacon, snack sticks and kielbasa left myself.

The kielbasa isn't bad, but he sticks, bacon and dogs will be a yearly order from here on out.

    Good stuff

I use velveta shells and cheese first layer on the bun, then the venison dog but you have to warm up the hotdog right? This is a venison dog and should be held in high regard like a brat, you don't just plop it in water and warm it is warmed in beer, then put on the mac and cheese and bean less chili on top with onions. If you can pick up and eat a chili cheese dog it does not have enough stuff on it use a fork and frito scoops to clean up the droppings.

I tapped out after 1, I do not eat processed food like mac and cheese and canned chili, holy sodium. It was good but decadent I am sure I will pay for it later with heartburn and a colon cleanse. :usa:

I like the cook it in beer idea. And your right, one colon cleanse coming up for sure.
