I have never planted peas before. I have mixed all of the seed together. Do I need to inoculate the peas? Or can I till up my food plot, spread my pelletized lime, and fertilizer. Then seed and cultipack.
A lot of mixes pre-inoculate the peas and put it expiration on the label. If they have not you can inoculate them yourself prior to planting. Its ok if you mixed them but generally I broadcast the peas first then run a drag over them to cover. After that I through down the smaller seed and ride the 4 wheeler over it all to pack since I don't have a cultipacker. I usually also disk in the lime and fertilizer if I add any during planting, then spread the seed.
Tilling in your lime and fertilizer is a good plan. Then planting in the loose soil, followed by a cultipacker and with a little rain, you should be golden.
