2016 Deer Contest sign-ups???

Just curious. My season starts 8/20. Only 53 days to go!!!!!!!

 

Next Month I believe is the Sign ups. Then August for the draw.

 

I was wondering when someone would be asking.

 

53 days?? Where at! Still have 87 days in Ohio

 

Zones D3, D4 and D5 in central CA. Found one zone that opens end of July out here! Can't wait. The new BTX needs to be fed!

 

I think I asked last year too. I had a buck on the ground before the teams were picked last year. Just getting excited!

 

76 days here and counting!!

 

By the way, I thought the Bowhunting.com app had a countdown clock. If it does, I can't find it.

65 and counting up here 9/2/16 can come a little quicker

 

Can't wait.. NY doesn't open till 10/1 and MA 10/20.

 

I'm NY too. 10/1 can't come fast enough. Hope it's cooler this year.

 

I have nothing to do to get ready for the reason other than plant food plots in July. But I am far from ready for fall and the season to be here already. Too much fun to be had in summer.

 

2 months, 19 days, 6 hours, 42 minutes, and 40 seconds until season starts

 

I love hunting, I just can't rush a countdown. My fall is so busy with everything I enjoy a break and summer. (Even if it's hot as ****)

 

I wish my season opened much later. With as warm as it is out here it's really hard to hunt. The last 3 days it's been between 106 and 109! It's not uncommon for it to be that hot for my archery opener too. We NEVER get to hunt even close to a rut. Animals need water so you sit there but it's rare they move in the daylight for water when it's that hot.

The heat is another reason I still rifle hunt too. Nearly impossible to spot and stalk with a bow when you're walking on corn flakes.

 

OCT 1 93 days for Texas. Falls for a later start this year. But only 59 days for CO to start.

 

I'll be starting the signups some time after the 4th. I can't believe it's that time already!!!
