I know a few states I would like to see succeed, and a few cities.

The Supreme Courts terrible decision to affirm affirmative action yesterday make me want to leave for the woods.

Only the GOP states could. Democrat states would be standing around waiting for somebody to do it for them.

Some of the GOP states are the poorest and need the most help, but they still would go;)

Then I would probably go with:

    Indiana
    Texas
    Kentucky
    Alaska

I'm just trying to get out of NY. Upstate where I'm from is not to bad but the crap seems to be running up hill. If they could split up the state from Middletown down would be good.

The only state on your list that has an economy and enough industry to support itself is Texas. None of the others really have anything.

Some of those states are such leeches on the Federal Gov it would be impossible for them to leave.

the leeches can either learn to take care of themselves, or move to a democrat state.

Rod- If you took away the voters that live near the tall buildings Minnesota would be conservative.

I think it would be North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, and Idaho into a group, Alaska by its self, and possibly Texas by itself.

Alot of people in Kentucky would leave tomorrow if they could.

Not saying it would be practical or even legal, just that sentiment is there with a lot of folks.

    Not me included...

Texas is not as "lone star" as I thought. Looks like ND is in the best shape.
