For you motorcycle guys, really cool bike!

I saw this bike walking into Home Depot one day. So cool I had to take a couple pics. Never heard of a Ural before but the guy had a Marines license plate frame. I assuming it was a military bike at one point. Super clean and nicely restored.

 

That thing looks really clean, could you see what size it was?

 

Well now that is definitely not buying American.

Interesting that the wheel of the sidecar is a drive wheel. 2WD bike.

 

I didn't really look but there were no obvious markings to a cc size. I was just impressed with the restoration. I was SUPER clean. Barely had dust on it. I liked the choice of the winter camo colors too.

 

No it's not American. I looked at Wiki and it's exactly the opposite.... Russian. Although it looks like they still make these and it's probably not as old as I thought. Looking at it I thought it was WW2 era but I saw a pic on-line of a 1999 model and it looked very similar. Either way, really cool bike. They were made WW2 era but the new ones still look the same.

 

All the new ones are 750cc. And you to can own one of these for a low low starting price of $18,000.

 

Nice looking but I'm not buying and riding. (at any price)

 

If I ever get a bike it will be an old style with a sidecar...always loved the way those looked
