    Minnesota sucks no decent deer in 2/3rds of the state.

    I like looking at these numbers but often wish they were included with other information such as number of acres of deer habitat in the state, deer density, total deer population, total size of the state, total number of deer hunters, number of deer taken, success rates etc. It would help give you a much clearer picture of what state actually provides the best opportunity to harvest one of these animals, which isn't always the one that produces the most of them.

    For the record the only non-typical B&C buck I've ever seen in IL lives in a forest preserve that's off limits to hunting.
