    Took a buddy out this morning since we both had a break from finals. He laid the smackdown on a two year old bird. It was a great hunt, especially because it's my roommates second bird ever.

    Headed out with my brother this morning and was able to get him on a pretty nice bird! 18lbs, 9 7/8"beard, 7/8" spurs. Been having a great season so far. Hope I can keep it going. I am tagged out until next week so I guess it is just scouting for now!!

    Had a hen in spread for 20 minutes...then left to join tom and 2 hens. Thought the tom was coming in. I'll be hunting often the next few weeks.
