Been having a bird work me the gf. 2 out of 4 times he has been in range just hasn't presented a good shot. Won't fully commit to the decoys. Set up in a a pinch point tonight on him with no decoys. Very little gobbling around here

Well my season ended yesterday. Had a few hens come around in the morning but nothing followed. When the rain started I had a group of jakes come in for about an hour. All the beards combined may have totaled 10" lol. Learned a lot this year but couldn't make it happen, good luck to the rest of you guys.

Been a rough season for us so far. We took a youth out for the PA youth season. We saw 31 birds probably 5 or 6 longbeards and each had 4 or 5 hens with him. Regular season hasn't been any better. Hunted 5 days this week and still haven't seen a longbeard. We think its a combination of them being henned up and not a lot of 2 year old birds. I have no shame in shooting a jake (good eaters) so in the coming weeks my patience for jakes is going to be short lived.

Same here in northern Pa. Every Tom I have seen has had at least 3 hens with him. They have came out but stayed out around 60 yards. I finally abandoned my blind and decoy set up and blasted the a Jake on the 7th with my shotgun. Next year will be the year with the bow.

Congrats on the bird tmpky. Things broke loose for us in Michigan the past week. Since the day I shot mine have filmed 4 buddies birds. Cooler weather this week may slow things a little but going to try and make it down to Ohio this weekend one more time
