"Sweetness"

This has probably been asked before but...... Which episode and season did Todd kill Sweetness? I'm pretty sure that's the name of the buck that is to the right of Todd - from our view. The buck is back now, but he was replaced for a short time by the "Wide" buck he shot.

 

It wasn't Todd who killed "Sweetness." Do a search for it on Bowhunting.com and it should come up. Great video!!!

 

Correct - Todd didn't kill Sweetness. He was close a few times, but never got close enough. He was killed by a friend of Todd's as an 8.5 year old that gross scored 220". The full story is here - https://www.bowhunting.com/bowhunt101/a-buck-named-sweetness/

Those are both great stories. Great video of Todd. I guess he hadn't gotten to the "Perfect" Wind, hunting situation, ext that early in his career. But his response after shooting that big buck was priceless. To hear his voice CRACK, and for him to be almost speechless is very powerful.
