My season opens next week Wednesday, looks like birds are finally starting to break into smaller groups. No pressure on my property should be a good year. Anyone hunting in our group yet?

Well went after work yesterday. No gobbles, clucks or anything. Never saw a bird driving to my spot either. Was just getting done putting all my stuff in the truck and getting into the drivers seat then I heard a tom up in a tree about 100 yards away.

    LOL always.

Seasons are opening up Monday here but my tag won't start until May 4th. Heading to Ohio next weekend but will probably be using a gun down there then bow in Michigan

After work yesterday had a couple gobbles and some clucks but no birds would come in.

    Will be out Saturday morning.

Never saw a turkey hunting. The weather was way too hot for one and right now the food source that they were heading to everyday was not an area I could hunt.

Wait for the 4-6 seasons and buy the extra left over tags.

Seen over 20 birds this morning couldn't close the deal with the bow. If I would of had the shotgun it would of been game over. Still have 5 days and another season to get the job done!

Hitting the road this afternoon to Ohio for the weekend. Bringing the bow but not sure if I will use it. Good luck to everyone who's heading out

These Kansas birds are wearing me out. I've worked no less than a dozen gobblers this past week and just can't get one to commit. That's hunting I guess. I may bring the browning to the woods tomorrow and see if that equalizes things. Good luck to everyone out there

Well...I missed a tom, my magnus broadhead took off like a B-52 and soared 10' above his head at 30 yards.

Awesome work pernat. 28lb is a big bird. Got my butt handed to me in Ohio. Had s couple close calls but the birds where hen'ed up and stuck in the woods. Hoping to make another trip down in a couple weeks. Taking the gf out this week/ weekend then hoping to clean up on mine next week
