This release has peaked my interest since I am in the market for a new release. Not much info out there about it so let's hear some pros and cons from those that have spent some time with it. Might be giving Tru Fire a call this week to see if I can get a couple coming to try out. Thanks Shane Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have bow hunted 30 plus years and developed target panic the last year or so.... I had tried everything (back tension, Thumb release, etc) None of them were for me.... I have shot a wrist release my whole life... A buddy of mine at a local shop here in SC gave me a Chicken Wing to try and man what a difference it has made.. My target panic is not gone but having two fingers on the release I have been able to manage it.. This release has been a life saver for me.. It will take a little to get used to it but once you do you will love it...
Pros: Well Built/ Crisp Release/ Adjustable trigger tension/ Comfortable and sturdy wrist strap Cons: A little pricey/ Will take sometime to adjust to releasing with two fingers As I stated and got carried away in a previous thread this release is awesome for target panic in my opinion....
Thanks for the feedback Don't have target panic but can see some other areas where this would suite my shooting style well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This thread got me thinking. So I went out in our shop and grabbed a empty 22 mag casing, flattened it slightly and gave it a slight bend, then I painted it and stuck it on my trigger. Works pretty good for taking me 10 minutes. Just thought I'd share.
I have one and love it picked it up late last year and filled my last 2 tags with it I find its a bit easier to shoot with a thicker pair of gloves on as well Dan
Great idea. If you were committed you could take a little JB weld putty and extend the trigger. Once it dries you can then sand it to the way you like it.
