Do not shoot your bow until you get a new string. Multiple strands are broken and that's all that's visible. There could be much more damage in the strand bundles.

    Well I didn't get a bird again!!!
But on a good note I might get a chance to go hunt Missouri or Kansas in a week or two for a couple days

I agree. You're begging to have your bow blow up in your face if you keep using it in that condition.

Haven't shot it since I noticed. Hopefully I can find new strings in time for next weekend.

I prefer a good set of custom strings but vapor trail has a guaranteed quick turnaround time

Went scouting some public land yesterday, seen a few birds hoping to get out either Tuesday or Wednesday morning before my classes.

I've had good luck with 60Xcustomstrings.com

Depending on your bow model, they might have sets for you already made up and ready to ship.

They even give a discount to BH forum members. I think the promo code is "bowhunting".

If the hunting is good, I give you permission to skip class...

60x makes a great set of strings, but his turnaround time is on par with most other custom makers, usually around 5business days or more depending on how busy he is. Vapor trail will at least get you in the woods this weekend.

How bad are vapor trail prices? Don't have a lot of money and already in the hole 540 for the bow and a reel.

I was just about to say you can just get a new string. Looks like it's under 40 from vapor trail but I don't know what kind of bow you have. I would replace the whole set down the road when you get more money as they will stretch differently

I may as well just get a new set now so I don't have to worry about anything and I get the warranty

That's a good idea. Go to vapor trails website and fill in the info to found out pricing.

Oh don't worry about that. If I get on one, I will not be leaving him early.

Not 100% sure so please let me know but the Nitrum 34 is a cam and a half system so I need the 1.5 cam string set correct?

Thanks man. Do you know how fast 60x is on return? Trying to decide because vapor trail is quite a bit more in price.
