    Gentlemen,

im currently debating on whether to get some non camp colors on a new bow or keep it all camo. If I went went with custom colors, I would have red accents with a black bow. would having some red on my bow make a big difference when trying to stay hidden from game?

    Thank you!

No, that shouldn't make a difference.

Deer don't see color the way we do.
Black is my favorite "camo" color. I have pink and blue strings on my hunting bow and only shot 9 animals/birds last year.

Deer see all the ultra violet colors and that looks like neon blue. Anything with the blues in it the deer can spot you from a mile away. They won't know what you are or what it is, but they can see you.

Red isn't a big deal, neither is pink nor orange.

Deer will spot movement way better than most colors. Except for blues as previously mentioned.

What about neon green strings? Would that be an issue?

I wouldn't worry about it. Especially red. Hunters wore red plaid for decades :tu:

I always use fluorescent orange or green in my strings/fletching and never have a problem :) Don't worry about it.

My bow was red white and blue themed with black riser and carbon graphic limbs, no problems.

I'm betting that at least one of those deer in the truck does not like green!

I have a black hoyt faktor, and it seemed like I saw more deer with it than I did my old camo bow! The color won't matter, as long as it's not a glossy, shiny tournament color

Thanks man for the input! That's what I'm wanting to do to my bow. Those strings look great. Love that green.
