Found this idea online a few months ago and finally decided to put it together. Turned out pretty sweet! There are 5 nails along the bottom for hanging my release, sheds, etc.

Beautiful! I'd love to build an organization shelf for my archery gear. Great job.

I have a ton of pallets. Think I might just have to make one of these for myself!

That looks good! I may need to make one of these for when I get a new bow. I have a hanger already for my Bowtech that I currently use.

    nice work guys !
only thing I'd do is add some self stick moleskin/felt to where the strings or cables contact the rough lumber.

Actually if you make it right the strings will never contact any wood.

Certain stain that made the red coloring?

I love it, something like this would go great in my cabin. I get free pallets from work all the time, typically to burn, but it looks like they have another use!

Take the most coarse brush you can find and lightly pull the brush across the wood leaving streaks then stain over the top. Make sure to use oil base paint. Most stains are oil based so they shouldn't mix or smudge the paint while stain is being applied.

One thing I learned quick is to pick out the lightest colored pallet. I thought it would look neat with using pallets that were all beat up but when I put them together it wasn't the look I wanted.

I figured I would put together a shelf that matches. Turned out ok. I will probably redo it. I mounted it high because o the couch.
