Odd pic from recent cam pull

    So what do you guys think is goin on here? I haven't gotten pics of deer like this before so either he's new or something happened. But to me looks like he's about to lose the one antler maybe? Just thought it was kinda odd ha.

    I zoomed in...looks like he's got an abscess. If so he'll likely die; although since it's cold it will mitigate infection a bit.

    I thought I noticed something too when zoomed in. Hard to say, I found it most odd that if he has been like that he just showed up. Guess could of came from some kind of recent injury which is why never saw it before.

    from what I see it looks like he has been that way since he grew them but he definitely has a pentacle injury. might have happened when he was in velvet or if he had antlers the year before and he had a bad shed. another theory is if he had an injury to his back left leg it will affect his right antler.
