I'll be interested to see the price on this one as well. I'm a huge fan of the Millennium products and was thinking of adding the M7 Microlite (8.5 lbs, around $199) mainly because the receiver system will work with the stuff I have already and I believe they will be including a 35 ft lifeline with stands in the future according to one of the ATA videos. That could be the difference between the M7 or another stand for me.
I can almost guarantee it will be more $ than the microlite, but you're comparing a welded stand to a cast stand, they're not comparable imo.
Yeah probably will cost more which will likely put it out of my range. Hell I won't even pay $199 for the microlite (I'll find a sale). As far as welded vs cast my comparison ends at practicality. Not saying cast isn't better just not willing to pay for it when the welded product is safe and serves my purpose.
I know when I did the video with them they had mentioned that the price range would be anywhere from 150 to 180 for that stand I'm pretty sure they will be releasing the stand and the prices in the next couple weeks
Cody from XOP emailed me back the other day. They are looking at releasing this stand this summer. They are also working on the locking mechanism like the sticks have. A way to have the sticks lock to the stand without having to use straps. Here is the the response. Cody seems like a pretty cool guy and they really are trying to incorporate some cool features into the stands to make things easier and quicker. Email from XOP: Jason, We are currently finalizing our new light weight hang-on the Vanish XT. This stand will come in right around 8.5 lbs and be equipped with a 28 x 20 platform and all the features or our Air Raid. We hope to have this stand available for purchase by early this summer, june/july. Exact retail price is To be determined. *** we are currently working on the locking mechanism for the stand as well*****
I've known about about this stand for 2 years. I've even ask about the 1/4 turn mechanism to be add to the stand for their stick. i'm so pump their are coming out this year.
hey guys, Last I heard about a month ago the stand should be out in October. I ended up being lucky and I got myself one of them early. I used it for the first time 2 weeks ago and I really like it being a smaller guy. It has just enough room to sit and stand which is all you really need. When I got the stand I ordered the new sticks with the locking method as well but I ended up sending them back and I'm going to stick with my Lone wolf sticks. The XOP sticks are really nice quality but they are bigger and beefier (Heavy). my whole goal was to decrease weight so having them was not the answer. Now I just use a strap with a gator clip to strap my 4 lone wolf sticks to the stand. For an easy hang system I just put a small paracord loop on the beam by the seat and then use a small hook if needed to hang the stand while putting staps on. Any questions about it feel free to let me know
The Vanish xt is up for sale on there website. $169.99. I ordered one last night and should be here by Wednesday. I've been looking forward for it to come out and cant wait to start using it.
Hey guys, You can get the stand for 149 on this site. XOP Treestand Vanish XT Hang-on Treestand – Next Buck Outdoors
I have the Vantage. The Vanish looks like something I could be interested in if I didn't have to close on a house sometime this month.
I'm actually pretty bummed about this stand. 11.5 is not 8.5. I'm going to look into the m7 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have the m7, and it is light. But get alot of noise while setting the tree bracket. It's hollow tube, so it's loud also if something hits it. The seat is by far the most comfortable I have ever used.
Thanks for the info . I think I have read where guys are doing the versa button conversion on the m7. That should help with some noise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yea i agree. I like my Vanish XT stand but its definately a little heavier than 8.5 pounds that they kept saying in videos at shows etc. and then now they release it and say its 11.5 when I get a chance I'm going to weigh mine with it all together (Stand, Straps, Cushion, Third hand archery holder). Then I'll also get a weight with 4 lone wolf sticks strapped to it. I like it alot with my setup as I can climb pretty much any tree with this stand/sticks but its definatley heavier than what I originally thought.
