With the show just around the corner there's bound to be some rumors floating around as to who is coming up with what for this year. So if you hear something, or think you hear something, this is the place to chat about it. The only big unveiling I know of so far will be the new Bowtech bow. Of course a lot of people think Mathews has something up their sleeve as well. I honestly don't know if they do or don't so only time will tell.
I thought we weren't suppose to talk about Mathews rumors on this site? :p I recall the last speculation and rumor Mathews post getting shut down?
When I went to put a order of new strings on my Halon, I was talking to the shop owner which their shop mainly sells mathews. He said that there will be a new bow released at the ATA. I would think it would be a target model
There's a difference between rumors and leaked information that dealers aren't supposed to be publishing.
You crack me up! Leaked info is the same as a rumor unless that info is officially released. It's just the quality of the info that makes it a rumor. :p I get info that others don't necessarily have and I am not a dealer.
I'm hoping that with the new Bowtech bow being announced that I can find a deal on a Carbon Knight. No sales at all out there. I have $600 burning a hole in my pocket.
I heard from a very reliable source that one company is releasing a compound, compressed gas hybrid. It uses compressed gas to make it a pneumatic assist draw. It was said that it has an unassisted draw weight of 5 ton but assisted it draws 5 pounds. It was said they had to develop special shafts made of nano-carbon fiber tubules infused with a graphite based polymer because it launches an arrow so hard at Mach 3 that normal shafts disintegrate within five yards. The interesting thing is that they have built the composite limbs out of carbon fiber coated with an advanced technology graphene epoxy that actually generates enough power to generate the air pressure needed to operate the bow. The company reportedly made a "full auto" version of the bow but it was decided that it posed too much of a risk to public welfare (not to mention the very fabric of time and space) to be introduced to the world so they disassembled the full auto version and burnt it with a mix of napalm and thermite. One last interesting thing reported is that they discovered that the bow is more effective for killing game with blunt tipped arrows rather than broadheads. Apparently the blunt tipped arrows launched from the bow are more effective as blunt force projectiles because the broadhead tipped shafts not only blow through a deer carcass too fast but also because the sharp tipped shafts get completely buried when they hit the ground on the other side, even when it's solid rock. The blunt tips had to be developed 99% smaller than first designed because the first penny sized heads were actually blowing deer completely apart. No word on a retail price yet. Stay tuned.
This is the most elaborate rumor I've seen in a while! Let me know when it hits the market! I'll buy 10!
Kendall Jones & Eva Shockey will be holding hands wearing nothing but body paint in support of their sponsers.
I withheld all the names...what's the biggie? I didn't even mention the rumor that the military is looking at it's anti-aircraft and armor defeating capabilities....
Is it oil or water based paint? I want to know what the hell to fill my 5 gallon bucket with on the way to their booth. I swear if anyone dares to bring a pair of towels other than the ones I'll be carrying...it ain't gonna be pretty.
