I was wondering if someone checks the scorecards for all of the entries in the contest? I've been scoring deer for over a decade and I have seen some mistakes in more than one persons entries. I know this is for fun and I'm not trying to cause problems but I don't like it when people lie or cheat. It might not be on purpose either..... Its nobody on our team...... I saw one entry the guy added the tip to tip spread and the greatest spread to the score. The buck should have scored around 70 inches and ended up scoring 91.

Yeah Sean, I have seen a lot of bad scores. It's not right I agree, but I don't think it's worth raising attention to, unless of course it's a game changer.

I know what you mean Sean. If it becomes more of a problem, and you guys feel I should mention it to fitz then I will.

Not me.....with gun season started things get a little squirrely here in Wisconsin. I'm done until some late season food plot hunts in Dec.

My number 1 local deer was shot last night on a drive by a gun hunter. Congrats to him although I cannot stand drives for gun hunting. He was in one of my lone wolf sets in a great pinch point.

Last weekend it was shotgun season here in Illinois and bowhunters aren't allowed to hunt. Headed to Minnesota today for a family thanksgiving. Hoping to squeeze in a hunt sunday afternoon back here. Then its another shotgun season, again which us bowhunters can't hunt....

Really banking on some late season action!

I've been doe hunting lately guys, and I'm looking for a "Todd Graf trophy doe".

Gun season was hard with the snow. Though I went out with my dad, I can't stand it either. Good luck to all those who are hunting. Keep checking in and updating us!

Well I wish everyone the best of luck. I've shot some nice deer during this week in the past. They should be still chasing some....... Here is that video of the 2nd buck I shot. I finished the video this morning... https://youtu.be/i2GLt9gAVF8

I'm really really starting to see seeking and chasing. I believe in So Il we missed the first phase of the rut due to temps and weather but this second phase is KICKING

I live in so Il andrew and from the 9th to the 14th I saw a lot of chasing... I do hunt in thick cover near doe bedding areas though..... I figured this full moon would boast some daytime rutting activity. Good luck Andrew. I hope you get something big.

Yeah I guess it's just different areas or something. No one around saw anything as far as rutting activity until last weekend

My 4 day weekend hunt in December has been canceled. I may be able to get out again for the last full weekend of archery season in MO. January 7th - 10th. Keeping my fingers crossed for a doe.

Completely switching my strategy now. I've got a spot that has a large 7 acre alfalfa field that is still green. Gonna put three camera and stand sites up this weekend and start patterning a late season buck hopefully! Anyone have any tips on this kind of hunting?
