Haha yea I'm just hoping I can get out Friday and Saturday morning before my buddy and his gf come out and walk draws half the day and go through 10 boxes of shells haha. They're both kinda impatient when it comes to hunting.

It was the same way when I was hunting up in Macon County. If by 8:30 they hadn't killed anything the orange army would be on their 4 wheelers pushing every patch of buck brush and multi flora rose they could find.
    Makes hunting great.

Yea luckily they just walk but it does make it hard to hunt. I usually don't mind running some draws but it's more of a last day, last ditch effort. Turns off alot of guys but I actually think it's kind of a change of pass and don't mind it too much. Definitely don't get as much enjoyment out of getting one that way though.

But it's his ground and I don't pay anything besides my time helping on the farm and he's the guy work for during the week. So can't complain too much.

Nope, if he lets you hunt all the time it sounds like a good deal.

    Hey Umpire Jim.
On your buck they are asking for a second pic with the bow. Unless you just put it there I looked at a pic that had you, the deer, and a bow in the pic. Just curious what they were wanting.

Tomorrow is going to require the heavy weight clothes. I'm going to head out about 8:30. Wind is supposed to die down as the day goes on. Planning on being out all day.

Had a shooter slip through the timber west of me. I tried everything but he wanted to go west.

Easiest hunt ever: walk to your blind at 10am, shoot doe already there, hit her high and spine her. Drag her back to the house and surprise wife 20 minutes after you leave. :)

Congrats. I shot a doe on Saturday to but with the wrong weapon. I'll be back at it after the gun seasons over.

It's always nice to have more meat in the freezer! Nice work.
I have to travel if I want to use a gun. Last 3 years we had a late shotgun season, but none this year. Kinda bummed since I have two new shotguns I wanted to take out!
Mb next year depending on a town vote...
