Doh! If it pays off you're a genius. If not that regret will never go away

Bow has been shooting great the last 3 days. It's me and the areas I'm hunting. Thick cover. I could have let him walk a couple more steps today...forced it a bit through a hole in cover and paid the price.

It's bound to turn around for you. You have 2 deer down already so don't think either of your descriptions fit.

Hope you get that next shot at redemption, it's definitely not going to be by luck when it happens.

Nothing huge. Maybe a 100 inch 8 pt. Respectable buck for my area and I'd have been proud to kill him.

Well no luck with changing stand location, probably won't ever see him again haha. Saw couple doe though and a decent sized buck with a doe on way home bout 1/4 mile up gravel road from where I hunt. Gonna head back out tomorrow morning and if don't see deer in after I'll move around and let that area cool down.

Braver man then most. Hunting in a blind? I suspect it will be heavy rain during the pre dawn and prime morning hours.

Keep at it, Brett. Ups and downs, bud. You encouraged me to get back on the horse two years ago after sending an arrow over the back of a nice buck. Took your advice and shot one the next day.

    I'm pulling for ya.

I'm up in the stand. Got this tree ready just in case of an east wind. I turned off my alarm twice this morning bc I am so ticked with myself over the miss yesterday. ....have to keep plugging away.
