Yeah, but a little lighter. Using my sons brand new case drop point to skin him out, knife slipped somehow and the blade came down on the full length of my middle finger. Cut Clear through the length of the finger and blade came out the other side, tendons are fine though. Feel terrible ruining a great night for Dayne by being careless.

Congrats, i've had a few encounters with deer on the ground this year. Could have shot two, but opted not to. Hindsight kicked me in the nads.

I can only imagine the rush of not only getting close, but the realization that it just might actually happen the closer you get.

That sucks, we're at least hitting the 50's later this week, but windy. We hit 68 where I was today, Mid November in Illinois? Unreal!
    Best of luck to ya!

Damn dude, going to have to change your name to RugerDeboned.

That could have been a hell of a lot worse, glad it wasn't.

Ouch I hate random injuries like that I've cut my self getting a deer before nothing that bad but it still sucks.

Oh man, it's some good stuff.

Needs a few tweaks to fine tune it, but thinking I'll be cooking in the chili contest at work next year. I have boycotted up until niw cause we can't use deer meat. They reimburse all ingredients and buy the meat you order, see how they like buying 15lbs of filet mignon next year
