Well I just posted my harvest. Sorry It wasn't more. I shot a doe and a 6pt buck last weekend. For a total of 100 points.
I tried to wait for a bigger buck. But I was running out of time before my bow season was over and the gun season started.
And I wanted some fresh venison..lol. We had the tenderloins tonight!
I wish everyone luck on filling your tags!
    GO TEAM 18!!!!!

Bobcat, don't be silly. 100 points is a great contribution, you got some fine meat and had one heck of a weekend!
I still have a lot of season left and I'm gonna bust my butt to get me a buck.
We seriously have a shot at this thing!

Wow things kicked off for us here in MD today. Front rolled through last night and the deer movement today was off the charts. I had 4 bucks and 5 does. All bucks were nose to the ground chasing two of the does. A buddy of mine grunted in a small 8 pt and killed him at 30 yards. Another guy on my lease had a shot at a decent 8 trailing a doe. Couple other guys I know said deer were on their feet all day around them. Rut kicked off with a bang! Saturday can't get here fast enough for me.

Not sure why but I got awful penetration, no pass through and didn't even get an exit wound. Knew I hit him well but still gave him a few hours, little blood just had to follow kicked up leaves.

Anyways, rifle starts here this weekend, hoping to put another doe down before then

I entered my doe on Nov 2, page 10 of the official scorecard thread. Hopefully Fritz updates the totals soon. Kinda curious to see if we get back in the running.

The guy that lives on the farm right next to my lease said he saw Caesar breeding a doe in a field that backs up to our woods. I'm taking off Friday! Caesar.jpg
