Hopefully it will fizzle out like the storm system last week did. Veterans Day is the only day I can get out next week and the orange army will be in full force by the weekend.

It's a bit frigid this morning. One glove sucks.

So far my human scent funnel is not working. Bout to pin a loudmouth squirrel to the tree though

No deer other then the one in the headlights this morning when I was parking. Did have some turkeys roosted about 20 yards away so watched them fly off

Just had a 6 point at 5 yards. He left and I brought him back twice with the grunt call. Fun stuff. Now I just need the big boy to do that.

Here's where severe weather is likely to set up Wed. Anywhere in the yellow with greatest outbreak threat in red.

Likely to change size and area as it nears and becomes clearer, but it is a large area for November

Been so long up until this morning for me seeing some deer that I almost forgot what they looked like!!! Just had 5 does about 200 yards out on the opposite tree walking down it but turned back into it to get out of this wind!!! Surprised I didn't see a buck with that group at all!!!

Good luck guys! Got church and then I may try a mid-day sit. I have a family birthday thing this evening? I hope the storm peters out, I am smack dab in the middle of the "red" in the above post. Took vacation Wednesday through Sunday? My luck!

3 years ago today is when I shot under the biggest buck I've ever loosed an arrow. Sitting same dtand and just keep staring at the spot waiting for my redemption buck to appear. So thick and overgrown would likely bever get a shot, but a man can dream.

This has been an unbelievable morning already. Rocky is bedded with a hot doe 200 yards away. He has chased off a 150" 10 and a upper 140's 8. I passed both of those bucks already. It is going to take something special to not wait Rocky out and see what happens.
