I'm hoping to add 2-3 more cameras to my arsenal. Currently I'm running 3 Covert MP8's and a MP6, a cheap Primos, and an old Cudde Attack. The Cudde is getting up there and eats batteries. The Primos probably takes the best pics, but I have had 2 others crap out on me in the last year. The Coverts have been reliable, and great on battery life, though night pictures are a little less than desirable, but all were bought on sale so great value. I'm leaning towards sticking with Covert, especially if I can find some more sales, but open to any other brands. I really do like the looks of the newer Stealth Cams.
I recently purchased the Bushnell Aggressor low glow. I'm enjoying the cameras performance. Second Bushnell camera and had good support with the last one...which has been in service for at least 4 years.
My wife just bought me a Browning Strike Force HD. I haven't had it out yet but all the reviews I've read on it are very positive. Here's the link to the trailcampro.com review. http://www.trailcampro.com/browningstrikeforcereview.aspx Blessings.........Pastorjim
I'd go with a Stealth G42 or Browning BTC-8 which both are blackflash. The Browning's have a faster trigger IMO but the Stealth's have better pics and videos.
I've got around a dozen of the newer Stealth cams including both G42's and G30's. Overall I like the G30's much better. The battery life is much better and they run flawlessly even when the batteries are super low. I can get 4-5k pics on a set of batteries on the G42's but more like 8-10k on the G30's. The G42 is also throwing so much infrared that night pics sometimes get a washout effect unless you set the cam waaay back from the target. G30 is my vote. If you look around you can get the for around $90 shipped so they are a great deal.
For the price, my Browning strike force is the best camera i've used. Great pics night and day and battery life is pretty good as well
I am running G30's, 880i's, Covert Black 60s. Of all of mine the 880i is my favorite. I will never buy another Covert...Sure its good day pictures but the night pictures are horrible and the dawn and dusk pictures are even worse...Bass Pro had the 2014 880i on sale a few days ago for 89$
Scott Have a look at the SPYPOINT lineup. I recommend the IRON-9 or the smaller FORCE12 for you. I can put together a 3 camera package deal discount and free shipping. PM me for details if interested. Steve
I agree, I've got 2 Red 40s and they are very reliable. Amazing battery life and very good daytime pics. Night pics are pretty good.
