Pictures aren't great, but for our area, he's good. Biggest one I've seen on stand. My dad's is the only one bigger that he shot two years ago.

Edit, although at second glance, this may be a different buck. Tine length is close, but I think the buck tonight was a bit wider. Either way, biggest one I've seen from stand.

Well, hopefully he sticks with her or in the area and waits for that first doe. He's a good buck for most anyone.

Hope you can punch his ticket oraybe that fading light was meant to be and the right one is yet to appear.

Matt, that's a bummer. But this is only the beginning. You'll get another chance.

I don't get home until late but went out to a stand I had up already. Let's just say I won't be using that stand anymore. Most of the leaves have dropped, making me stand out. Had a big group of does come out right after I got in but picked me off within a few minutes.

Lol, is he strumming the bow like a guitar? If so, no sugar before the hunt Dad.

Hopefully you guys can pull off a hunt together.

Might be worth a shot if you can get in it.

NWas in Chicago is talking about a deepening of what once was Patricia. 10mb in 6 hours, that's a pretty good drop in pressure over such a short time. Have any ground blinds?

Tonight at 5:45, a beautiful wide buck ran across the field behind my house.

I grabbed my binos and shoes and ran out the sliding door to the yard...as I peered around the barn, he was gone, but there was another big buck that was real high, 5 doe and 6 fawn...

The buck was running the doe around and the fawns were just trying to stay out of the way...this went on until it got dark....it was awesome....

See, there in lies your problem. Fitz would have grabbed his bow and shoes. See Count Chocula

This is your year, you have the bucks and you have the time off.

    Go bigger....

Stepping up is stepping up, doesn't matter if it is from 90 to a 115 or a 115 to 150. Don't pass a biggest buck for "the" buck if it's not what suits you. Eventually your biggest buck remains your biggest buck and you may never top it, or shoot another one for that matter.

I want my biggest buck to date, but never said I wouldn't shoot if not. I have two chances at hat goal, but guarantee I will shoot what makes me put the sights on him.

Reducing my score a few, 132 7/8. Didn't see where he was holding the rack up
