Boonie cap hunters unite!

Been on the search for the perfect boonie. Hard to find one I like.

My buddy is very much attached to his boonie.

 

Jake what kind of camo do you like? Let me help you come over to the boonies cap side!

 

I need to go home and search all my gear. The more I think about it I swear I bought an ultimate camo boonie a couple seasons back. I know I was seriously contemplating it if not. Won't recognize my email for some reason to log into my account and check.

 

No preference. Can even be a solid color.

I have a old WW2 camo boonie I wear when its warm enough.

 

I still have this one floating around somewhere, may have to break it out!

Ive been searching for an ASAT boonie, can't find one in my size, all LG and XL. Bastids.... I do have a Nat Gear one I wear fairly often

I like boonies b/c they have the same 360* profile. When you wear a ball cap and turn your head, the bill movement is much more obvious than a boonies brim. Plus the brim on a boonie is soft and if it hits my string at full draw no biggie.

Ya imma First Lite junky and most my ASAT is such. Considered the brimmed beanie but I've heard they run a bit big tho and I have a small head

 

Right..i got a od green one at ems. I'll sport it a few times before it gets cold

 

I got a old military surplus one I bought 20 years ago. I bet I used it for 10 years or more, loved that thing! I still have it, I will have to try and find and bust it out for a hunt this year.

 

Im ashamed to say i never did do the boonie. It just always felt awkward. I really wanted to but just couldnt pull it off
