I was going to get out this weekend but the weather here (MN) is going to be high 70's to low 80's. Too nice of a weekend not to spend it with the family. Trading my bow for a fishing pole and going to drown some worms with my kids

Few days left before I can draw blood here in IL, but it is coming fast. Not sure if I mentioned it or not but I recently lost a 160 acre farm to an outfitter buying it all and I am doing a lot of battling with him right now. He's trespassing and hanging stands on our side and even took one of my stands down. Have no physical proof that it was him though, it's just his trademark thing to do. Update: Hey Guys I went out to the new cabin where I am going to be hunting today. The owner took me around the property and I believe I found where I will be hanging a set tomorrow morning. It's on a line of a very large wetland/swamp and a piece of timber. The owner tells me that I'll get a shot at at least one shooter this season which has me really excited! I've hunted big woods all my life with the exception of last year and to put it lightly I really do miss it. I won't see as many deer but I wouldn't want it any other way. I'll keep you updated on the progress with this new spot! Good luck to all of you who are in the woods!
Well guys I have picked out my spot on the new property of the cabin that I'm going to be hunting at. I have ordered a new hang on stand which should come in the mail this week sometime. I also have my climbing sticks put up, my lifeline hung, camera setup, and baited. I have included a picture of the snapshot of the land I'm hunting. The red circle is where I am hunting. The blue circle is the cabin, and the orange circles are where other guys hunt! Keep at it guys, good stuff is right around the corner!
